Miniature Schnauzer

Miniature Schnauzers (meaning ‘small beard’ in German) were imported to the United States in the Mid-Twentieth Century. This small breed, on average has a shoulder height of 12-14 inches and weighs between 12-18 lbs. They have soft thick undercoat topped with a rugged outer coat colored solid black or a salt and pepper look. Miniature Schnauzers are eager, intelligent learners, brave and fun, loyal, and protective; making them great companions. Miniature Schnauzers are very responsive to their owner’s voice so they are well suited for apartment life, but at the same time; loves playing with familiar children, dogs, and other pets outside in the yard.
