Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

The Cavalier is perhaps the sweetest, most gentle, most forgiving, and most eager to please breed out there.  They make a great therapy dog or household pet. They were first recognized by the AKC in 1995, and stand at 12-13 inches tall and the shoulder. Our Cavaliers are the Blenheim color and generally weigh around 14-21lbs (can be a bit more or less). This breed is generally intelligent and is willing to try anything that is rewarded with praise. Cavaliers have a very soft and dependent personality. They just so desperately want to be with you and please you, so whether that is sleeping on the couch or playing in the yard: they will be the happiest just to be with you.
